Half Term Childrens Sewalong Online Zoom Group Sewing Lesson

Our online group 'SewAlong' workshops are aimed at children 5+ who want to be creative and learn how to sew by hand or on a machine from the basics through to a small project.

They will receive basic fabric needed in advance for the session.

Each session lasts approx 45mins and is streamed live via Zoom.

For half term you can choose from machine SewAlongs:

Thursday 3rd June 9am - Basic Sewing Techniques. This includes how to sew a basic seam, neaten a seam edge and create a hem.

Thursday 3rd June 10:30am - How To Make A Hair Scrunchie. Make your very own hair scrunchie. Once you've made one you'll want to make many more!

Friday 4th June 10:30am - How To Make A Small Envelope Cushion Cover. Learn how to make a simple cushion cover with no fastening. This requires a 8" x 8" cushion inner to be purchased separately.

Further information will be needed on your child's age and abilities. Please choose the session required from the menu.

We also offer 1-2-1 lessons please get in touch to book these.

Hand sewing SewAlong's will take place in the summer and at various weekends. The above projects can also be created by hand sewing. Please register your interest.

If you have siblings wanting to take part a multiple booking must be made due to materials needed. They are of course welcome to sit and oversee if not :)

We also offer sewing subscription boxes and one off kits.

If you would like to organise your own SewAlong please let me know!
